Baked Shiitake wrapped in puff pastry
This recipe uses dried Shiitake for a Western-style dish. It’s easy to make using frozen puff pastry. Perfect for snack time! Be sure to wrap them tightly so the cheese and other ingredients inside don’t leak out during baking.
Frozen puff pastry
Rehydrate the dried Shiitake in water. Finely chop the sausages. Sauté the onion in the vegetable oil.
Fill the Shiitake with the ingredients from 1 and the cheese, then wrap in puff pastry, using the amount required based on the size of each Shiitake.
Brush the outer surface with egg, then bake in a 200℃ oven for 15 minutes.
