Takoyaki–style Shiitake

Have a takoyaki party with tender Shiitake instead of octopus!! Use Donko Shiitake for an amazing taste!

Ingredients (Ingredients (for four people))

  • 200g takoyaki mix(Dashi-flavored batter)
  • 6g red ginger
  • 20g spring onions
  • as required Tenkasu (Agedama) – Tempura Scraps
  • 2 eggs
  • 600cc water
  • 40g dried Shiitake
  • as necessary vegetable oil
  • 500cc water-A
  • 2 tsp Dashi stock-A
  • a little less than 2 Tbsp concentrated noodle soup (3x concentrate)-A
  • as required chopped spring onions (optional)-A

Steps

Cut each Shiitake into eighths.

Chop the red ginger and spring onions.

Make a batter by mixing the takoyaki mix, water, and egg.

Brush a heated takoyaki grilling machine with the oil. Pour in half the batter.

Add the rest of the ingredients and pour in the remaining batter.

If you wish, serve with the ingredients in A mixed together, or brown sauce!
