Using Shiitake Powder♪Beef and Komatsuna Korean-style Stir Fry

A great snack with beer! Adding a little shiitake powder to your meals boosts the natural umami flavor. At the same time, the saltiness will rise and enable you to automatically lower your salt intake.

Ingredients (2-3 servings) (30 minutes)

  • 200g beef (offcuts)
  • 2 (60g) Red bell peppers
  • 1 bunch (about 260g) Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)
  • as required Cooking oil
  • 10cm Leek (finely chopped)-A
  • 1 Tbsp Shiitake powder-A
  • A splash of sesame oil-A
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce-A
  • 2 tsp Mirin-A
  • 1 clove Garlic (grated)-A
  • 2 Tbsp Soy sauce-B
  • 1&1/3 Tbsp Sugar-B
  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang hot pepper paste-B
  • 2 Tbsp Ground sesame seeds-B
  • 25ml Water-B

Steps

Marinate the beef with the A condiments.

Cut the Komatsuna into large chunks and thinly slice the red bell peppers.

Add cooking oil to a frying pan and stir fry the meat from 1. until brown, then add the red bell peppers and the stems of the Komatsuna and stir fry.

Season with the B mixed condiments, add the leaves of the Komatsuna and stir fry until soft.
