Glass Noodles Japchae with Shiitake powder

Ingredients (4 servings) (30 minutes)

  • 50g Glass noodles
  • 5g Dried Wood ear mushroom (sliced)
  • 1/3 bunch (100g) Spinach
  • 1/2 medium (70g) Carrot
  • 100g Minced beef (or mixed with minced pork)
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame oil
  • A pinch of Salt & pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Roasted sesame seeds (white)
  • 1 Tbsp Shiitake powder-A
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce-A
  • 1/2 tsp Grated garlic-A
  • A pinch of Pepper-A
  • 1 Tbsp Sake-B
  • 1 ,1/2 tsp Doubanjiang (spicy bean sauce)-B
  • 2 Tbsp Sukiyaki sauce-B
  • 1/2 tsp Chicken stock powder-B

Steps

Boil the glass noodles, rinse with water, drain well, and cut into bite-size pieces.

Rehydrate the wood ear mushrooms and slice.

Cut the spinach into 4cm long strips and the carrots into 4cm thin strips.

Season the minced beef with A and mix well.

Heat up the sesame oil in a frying pan, add 4., and stir fry at medium heat.

Once the meat is brown, add the glass noodles and wood ear mushrooms and stir fry.

Next, add the carrots and spinach and stir fry.

Add the B seasonings and stir fry. Finally, add a pinch of salt & pepper and the roasted sesame seeds and serve.
