Curried takikomi rice with Shiitake powder

An irresistible aroma from the moment you lift the lid! Curry and Shiitake powder is an incredible combination.

Ingredients (60 minutes)

  • 540ml Rice
  • 200g Chicken
  • 1 Tbsp Sake (for seasoning)
  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce (for seasoning)
  • 250g Mixed vegetables
  • 2 Tbsp Salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp Curry powder
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Chicken soup base-A
  • 50ml White wine-A
  • 540ml Water-A
  • 1 Tbsp Shiitake powder-A



Wash the rice and place in a sieve. Finely chop the chicken and season with the sake and soy sauce.

Heat a frying pan, pour in the salad oil and stir fry the chicken and mixed vegetables. Mix in the rice until coated with oil, then add the curry powder, salt, and pepper.

Place the rice mix and the ingredients marked A in a rice cooker. Stir briefly and cook.
